Running Budniks on your ride? We want to see the final product! Share your favorite photos of your to be featured in our galleries and social media, and a chance to win our Cool Ride of the Month Contest. Help us showcase all of the hard work that goes into building your ride.

What is Cool Ride of the Month


The best part of building wheels isn't the wheels. It's the people who put them on something worth driving.

At Budnik, we sweat every detail to send you the best set we can make. They look good sitting in our shop, sure. But they look a whole lot better on your car, on your terms, doing what they were built to do. That's the part we don't get to see, and the part we're dying to.

So we made Cool Ride of the Month. It's our way of seeing where our work ends up, and your way of showing off the work you poured into the whole build. We also want to know who helped you get there. Tag your favorite builders, shops, and brands so the whole community can give credit where it's due. Or don't. It's your ride. But at least tell us a good story about it.

Each month we'll crown a new winner and celebrate the one before. Submissions roll on a deadline of the 20th, and winners are picked from everyone in the pool. 

How to Get Featured and Win

Entering is simple: 

  • Grab some photos of your ride in its natural habitat.
  • Drop them in the Submit Your Photos form below.
  • Sit tight. Give it some time and see if you land in Cool Ride of the Month or in our promo material.

To improve your chances, make sure to look at Our Preferred Car Shots and Angles for examples of our favorite shots and the not so good ones. And don't forget the story behind the build, a good one goes a long way.

How to get the best chances at being featured and winning.


At the end of the day, we want to show off the best of your vehicle, and our wheels too. To best show off your car please try and shoot your photos considering our preferred guidelines below:


  • First and foremost, shoot in landscape for most photos. This ensures the car has enough room to show up and be cropped for different media platforms.
  • Pose Your Ride. Our favorite angle to shoot cars is at a slight angle with the wheels turned to face the camera. We find this pose is more dynamic than a straight on vehicle.
  • Take low angle photos. In most cases the best height to take photos between center cap height and slightly above the bottom of your windows.
  • Give your car room to breathe. Leave a good amount of space between your ride and the edges of the photo. This allows us to crop and center your vehicle appropriately to show off on social media.
  • Avoid wide angle photos. Fish eye lenses, 0.5x on phones, and other wide angles can distort your image and appearance. While the aesthetic can look really good, provide us with some standard photos first before getting artsy on us. For our photographer professionals and hobbyists, we find that a 30mm lens or 1x or 3x zoom on iPhones is ideal.
  • Show us your fitment and brakes. Close ups of your fitment or zoomed in shots of your big brake kits look great! Be sure to include a few if you can, even better if your center cap logo is upright and level in your shots.
  • Visibility and Surroundings: When taking photos please consider the visibility of your design, especially dark wheels can be hard to make out with insufficient lighting and/or exposure. Additionally try and avoid cluttered surroundings your clean ride deserves a clean environment.
  • Interiors and Steering Wheels: Throw some shots of your interior, especially if your are running a Budnik Split-Grip Steering wheel.

Additional Examples


Unfortunately no matter how beautiful your ride is, a bad shot makes it hard to show off. Below are some examples of what we can't use for a winner.

Almost great but lens flare and dirty camera lens coupled with the cluttered surroundings makes this difficult to use. 

Unfortunately for this beautiful car the photo is taken too close. The photo won't be able to be cropped for use on social media. 

With two sets of our wheels this photo would be great, however the lighting makes these beautiful polished wheels hard to see and the cones aren't a great centerpiece.
