BUILD YOUR BUDNIKS,
-ORDER GUIDE-
STEP 1: DESIGN
The right wheel is the capstone of your build. Fitment matters, but form is the choice that defines the car, so we start there.
Nearly every design is available in nearly every size and finish, so your choice is never limited.
1.1 Budnik Wheel Series
Each of our designs belongs to its own series with each series differentiated by profile, types of design, or our covered lug system.
1.2 Design & Spoke Types
A true classic, The Five Spoke Wheel
Likely the most well known shape and for good reason.
The 5 spoke's sibling, a Split Spoke or 10 Spoke Wheel
Stemming from the 5 spoke design, a split spoke has a sportier look and a bit more flexibility in its shape
Surfaced + Ported/Slotted Wheels
Surfaced Wheels require extra machine time to achieve the flat outward facing surfaces seen on these types of wheels.Additionally many of these types of wheels will feature slots, ports, and "kidney bean" shaped windows, a call back to the classic racing style.
Directional Spokes
Crafted uniquely for each side of the vehicle, directional wheels give the illusion of motion even when stationary.1.3 Common Design Elements

STEP 2: DIMENSION
Diameter, width, backspacing, brake clearance, center bore, and hub length determine how your wheels sit, clear and perform. Get these measurements right before production and we’ll confirm the fit.
2.1 Choose Your Lip Profile
FAT LIP
SMOOTH. DEEP. MODERN
Smooth outer profile and larger center create a clean, modern look with strong visual depth.
TRADITIONAL STEP-LIP
CLASSIC. DEFINED. TIMELESS
Defined step with a smaller center for a classic, OEM-inspired appearance.
2.2 Understanding Wheel Size
DIAMETER
Measured bead to bead.
NOT the outside diameter.
(measure the largest inside diameter and round to the nearest inch)
WIDTH
Measured bead to bead.
Outside width is usually about 1” wider.
Wheel Anatomy
2.3 Critical Dimensions
A wheel with the wrong numbers won't fit right no matter how good it looks.
BRAKE CALIPER CLEARANCE
HOW TO MEASURE
Place a straightedge across the face of the caliper.
Extend it over the mounting pad.
Measure from mounting pad to straightedge.
Budnik's standard Brake Clearance Pad comes in at 1.1" of clearance. If the stickout measures greater than 1" let us know. We can adjust our pad size to maintain the required 0.100" of caliper clearance.
BORE DIAMETER
For an accurate measurement we highly recommend having a pair of calipers handy to find the widest part of the hub. Without calipers you can use two straight edges and a measuring tape or scale to get a rough estimate. Alternatively, measure a wheel that already fits on your vehicle and use that as a reference.
Our standard Bore diameter is 3.072" or 78mm, if you have a larger hub we can accommodate up to 4.25" diameter hubs.
HUB LENGTH
To measure, place a straight edge across the top of your hub or dust cap. Then measure down to the mounting surface of your hub.
Our smallest wheels with a 1.1" Clearance Pad, accommodate a 2" hub length. If you have a longer hub, or are planning on running a different size Clearance Pad, please see the Fitment Section.

Backspace and Frontspace
When choosing your backspace, make sure to account for the following:
- A minimum 1" clearance on both sides of the wheel from the vehicle (suspension, fender, frame rails, etc...)
Modifications to Brake Clearance Pad will affect both the minimum and maximum backspaces available.
- With our standard 1.1" pad, the minimum backspace on a Fat Lip Rim is 3.75"
- Your backspace and frontspace should add up to approximately 1" more than the posted Rim Width

STEP 3: FINISHES
Designs sets the shape. Dimension sets the fit. Finish is what brings it all together and makes your Budniks yours.
Choose the finish across your whole wheel, or combine polish, brush and color zone by zone.
Budnik Finish Options
Full Polish

Our "Standard" finish, for good reason. Budnik Polish shines like jewelry
Hand Brushed

A more Matte look, hand brush provides a more quiet and refined look.
Ceramic Coating
Tasteful, durable, and blends into your build.
Combinations

The perfect blend for your build.
Combination Finish Zones
Wheel Center (Pockets)
Pockets, as we call them, are the recessed areas of the wheel. The smaller details, insides of pockets, or webbing around the windows.
*For combination finishes the pockets can be Polished, Brushed, or your ceramic color of choice.*
Wheel Center (Faces)
The Face of a wheel is the topmost portion of the center, or the streetside face of the wheel.
*When doing a combination finish the face can be brushed or polished.*
Wheel Outer (Lip)
The outer lip is the outer barrel of the wheel. This area can be Polished, Brushed, or Coated, however it can only be ceramic coated when the center is Coated as well.

FAQ
How long does it take to get wheels and what comes with them?
Every set of Budnik's are made to order, with our current production we average 8 weeks from initial payment to delivery.
With each set caps, valve stems, and your choice of lug nuts are included. Often packed in the corner insert of the box.
How do payments work?
We require a 50% down payment to get your order started. After the down payment we get started on your order, and when your order is ready for final assembly we will reach out for the remaining balance.
Not set on your exact dimensions?
We want your wheels to fit the best they can, but if you aren't quite sure yet and want a quote just give us the basics. We can quote a set of wheels with just the design, diameter, approximate width, and finish type. (e.g. Tungsten, 18" by 8-10" wide, and in polished brushed or coated)
Can I change my order after the deposit?
Often, yes. It does depend on how far along your order is, so reach out as soon as you know. Let us know upfront which specifics you are still unsure of and we will make sure to verify as we make your order.
How do I order?
Fill out our order form on any design listed on our website. We suggest reading this guide before getting started. Alternatively you can always send us an email at Sales@Budnik.com or give us a call at (714) 892-1932.
Already have a set and need to change sizes?
Should anything happen to your wheels, you purchased a preexisting set, or you are looking for a change we have you covered. We are able to repair and re-rim our wheels to any width of the same diameter and offset. To learn more see HERE.
