Cool Ride of the Month

This month’s Cool Ride photo was sent in by our friends at MetalWorks in Eugene, Oregon.

The bright red, beauty is a 1937 Chevy. Though not a recent build, this car proves that the

easiest way to transform the look of an older custom ride is with a new set of Budnik’s. We can help

you go instantly from outdated to updated!

The Chevy’s owner chose a set from our new SKO Series. SKO stands for Splined Knock Off, and this

new line of Budnik Wheels features covered lugs, a matching cover plate, a splined center nut, and a

three-bar spinner. This particular example is the Famosa SKO.

That’s just one of five designs we offer. Check ’em out.

Underneath this rejuvenated classic’s exterior is a ZZ350 crate engine that spins through a T400

tranny. Up front she turns on a set of Mustang II spindles. Out back is a Ford 9″ rear with a four bar

coilover suspension. Stopping is done on disc brakes all around. Keeping the custom, tan leather

clad interior cool is a Vintage Air AC system.

18″ fronts and 20″ rears

Thanks for the photos, Chadly!
